What is the minimum order?

We produce from 1 unit. At single units and small runs the price per unit is high, though, because the set-up costs - formula, labels, line set-up - are spread over a small run. That is why most brands start at around 500 units per fragrance - how the volume tiers work.
We send example quotes for different volumes and quality levels by email - ask your account manager and they will send the price list.

How do the volume tiers work?

We source components from many partner suppliers, each with its own minimum order. Around 2,000 units opens the most options - components, decoration and suppliers. What each tier gives you:
below 500 units, from 500 units, from 2,000 units, from 10,000 units.

What is possible below 500 units per fragrance?

Accepted Answer

We work with the components and fragrances physically in our warehouse:
fragrance - well-known rather than niche compositions; tell us the direction and we will check what we have and pick something suitable, bottle and cap - standard models from stock, bottle decoration - a label, carton - plain or textured, with one-colour print.

What does the 500-unit tier give me?

Accepted Answer

A wider choice of standard industry components and more decoration options. On request we will send a separate materials catalogue for runs of 500 units and up.

What does the 2,000-unit tier give me?

Accepted Answer

The offer opens up: access to the vast majority of component suppliers and a wide range of decoration - multi-colour printing, hot-stamping, dedicated boxes.
It is also where the unit price becomes very efficient - the price curve starts to flatten from here.

What does the 10,000-unit tier give me?

Accepted Answer

The option of your own unique glass bottle mould and by far the most attractive prices. How long a mould takes.

Question 7

Is volume counted per unit, per SKU or per fragrance?

Accepted Answer

It depends on the components. If all variants share the same components and differ only in fragrance, we can combine their volumes - bottles, caps and sprayers then often fall under a single supplier minimum.
If every SKU is completely different, we treat them as separate projects. The fragrance always has its own minimum - library or bespoke fragrance.

Is there a minimum order value?

Accepted Answer

There is no fixed minimum value - we produce from 1 unit. At small runs the price per unit is high, though, because the set-up costs are spread over a small run - more on the minimum order. It helps a lot if we know your budget from the start - that way we don't send proposals that are out of reach for it.

Question 10

Are the terms easier for a repeat order?

Accepted Answer

The minimums stay the same. A larger run lowers the unit price and a smaller one raises it. With a smaller run, some materials from the previous production may also no longer be available. What a repeat order looks like - no design phase.

Question 11

What if a component's minimum is higher than my volume?

Accepted Answer

You prepay the full quantity required by the supplier, and we use only what the production needs. The remaining units are yours to use in future orders.
We do not buy materials on our own account for a client. Storage costs for the surplus are agreed with you individually - storage between production runs.
