Perfume is dangerous goods - how does that affect shipping?

Perfumes contain alcohol, so we do not send them by air. For road transport we mark them under the limited quantities (LQ) rules.

Larger containers - such as canisters, IBC totes or drums of perfume base - travel as dangerous goods under ADR, which is noticeably more expensive than regular transport.
